Chess
Camps are divided into 2 Time Slots

Morning Camp
|
|
Beginner
/ low intermediate players (K - 12th grade) Mornings
10:00 a.m. - Noon, Monday - Friday - (10 hours, Cost is $79)
Students will learn rules of chess, chess
etiquette, notation, basic tactics, basic checkmates, chess strategy, and how
to solve chess puzzles. There will be an in class chess tournament and a
Bughouse tournament. Students will receive a chess medal, and a chess plaque. New students are
welcome and they will be taught all the basics of the game of chess. Each student will receive one on one time
with the instructor (Sal Chehayeb).
Whether you are in Kindergarten or in the 8th grade, if you
want to learn chess, then this camp is ideal for you!. |

Afternoon Camp
|

Intermediate
/ Experienced players (K - 12th grade) Afternoons
1:00 - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
- (15 hours, Cost is $99)
Students will learn openings, advanced combinations,
middle game techniques, checkmate skills and strategy, and how to solve chess
puzzles. There will be an in class
chess tournament and a Bughouse tournament.
Students will receive a chess medal, and a chess plaque. |
